Hello! My name is Rebecca.

I'm an author, illustrator and visual development artist, specialising in dynamic character designs for books and animation. I studied Illustration at Edinburgh University and completed my MA in Character Animation at Central Saint Martins in London. I have since worked with some great animation studios and publishing houses, and have been fortunate to illustrate stories that have been translated into a number of languages. Selected clients include Walker, Penguin Random House, Affirm Press, Flying Eye Books and Atheneum Books for Young Readers.

 

When I'm not drawing, writing, painting and planning, I'm likely to be found in a bookshop or antique market trawling the shelves for curious little treasures and black and white photos. I travel a lot, and have currently made my home in the UK.
